It's only an hour difference.....Joey

Dad thinks its funny that I am laying here on the kitchen floor, instead of spending time taking a picture of me, why won't he just pick me up and let me go to sleep. I don't care if it is only 6 o'clock, this whole time change thing is hard on my little body.

Time does not change us. It just unfolds us.

What moms don't get a turn too?

Here we are, mom and daughter on Izzy's equestrian field trip. Iz had a blast! She had a case of the nerves at first but it was all action once she was on board. Now I was hoping to get a turn... and this photo doesn't show my fab boots! Really Steph you would love them.

Trouble

Where Izzy is all about the drama, Jo is all about getting into trouble. I have discovered that it is best to keep him active outside the house during the day. Here he is at our local river finding a 'small' rock to throw into the water while Izzy was at preschool today. Sorry fish! -Mommy.

Getting up to speed

It seems the busier people get, the more we turn away from the phone. I was just thinking about a friend of ours tonight who is moving to Hawaii with her husband and their daughter. We were able to check their blog and were brought right up to date.

Today we took Jo-jo and Izzy-B for a long hike along the Fort-to-Fort Trail. It was an unseasonably warm day for October 20th. I don't ever recall being hot and having to remove my coat in October!!! The kids loved the hike as we strolled along the Local River we watched a man reel in a salmon. It is the time of year when the salmon are travelling upstream to spawn, there are thousands in the river right now, they were jumping all over the place.

We then went up to the village, it is absolutely beautiful right now with the big maple trees changing colours and dropping their leaves. We went into an ice cream parlour and listened to an old man play songs on his guitar as the kids ate ice cream and we drank coffee.

What a beautiful day!!!
