Windy Day

I took this photo on a crisp afternoon at the park. I was trying to capture her hair dancing with the wind. I have decided to try and paint this picture in an exaggerated art nouveau style. I hope it turns out! I'm telling you this so that I can be held accountable. I am officially tired of dreaming of becoming a working artist. I have to start working towards this objective, I know you guys will cheer me on (or give me a swift kick once in awhile)... S.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

To surprise the kids this Easter we set up a breakfast tea party with all their stuffed bunnies. They loved it and it ultimately distracted them from receiving too much candy!!

First Beach Day

We had our first beach day of the year last week. I thought Jay was crazy when he came out sporting shorts! But the day just got sunnier and sunnier.




We ended up staying until 7pm and left full of sand and surf. ... And some chocolate ice cream stains too.

Rock Star

This is photo was taken in the morning on my birthday. The kids decided that I couldn't possibly have a birthday with out activities so out came the face paints! Jay was a good sport and took one for the team since it was my birthday. He doesn't want this photo shown to anyone... oops;) Sue.

School Day

Sorry for the boring blog lately. Our friends Steph and Matt had their first baby! Congrats! Enjoy, it goes fast... you can repeat this phrase to yourself in the middle of those long nights!
-Anyways, just a quick note, this is my Type A daughter on her way to school, and this is what my Type B son likes to do while she is at school. Let's eat! Sue.
