Windy Day
I took this photo on a crisp afternoon at the park. I was trying to capture her hair dancing with the wind. I have decided to try and paint this picture in an exaggerated art nouveau style. I hope it turns out! I'm telling you this so that I can be held accountable. I am officially tired of dreaming of becoming a working artist. I have to start working towards this objective, I know you guys will cheer me on (or give me a swift kick once in awhile)... S.

Good luck...I too have great aspirations and little follow through! I am signing myself up for an art class in September so maybe that will motivate me. Also Oscar and I will be on your coast in July...see giving you LOADS of notice. I will email with dates soon.

Great picture by the way, I can't believe how big she is!
She's so pretty! Yes, don't we all have things on a to do list... I've been meaning to start making my lamps to sell on EBay but seeing as our house is about the size of a pea, I'm not sure it'll happen. Hopefully Ella and I will be out in July for a visit too.
Good luck with the painting, my craft projects sit in plain sight(my thinking being that if i have to look at them every day i will do something about them) sometimes this works, sometimes not. :)
